About the role


The Finance Business Partner (FBP) is responsible for creating a trusted partnership between finance and the leadership of a Program.

Through the provision of financial and analytical leadership and advice, the FBP will be required to deliver insights that will support the Program Leadership Team in their operational and strategic decision making, drive financial performance, support the budgeting and forecast process and ensure financial control of the Program's operations.

The Finance Business Partner will support the Program Leads in the effective and efficient delivery of finance services to the Program including, but not limited to:

  • maintaining a robust finance governance framework and structure for the Program;
- reinforcing a culture of financial performance accountability and empowerment;
- maintaining an effective performance reporting framework that cascades through the Program
- implementing effective strategies in managing financial performance, monitoring, forecasting, reporting and analysis; and
- providing business financial analysis and actionable insights including continuous improvement initiatives, benchmark comparisons and business case development.

Essential Requirements:


  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
