Our NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) team is currently seeking to appoint a Community Engagement Officer to service our Delivery team with coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of the community and stakeholder engagement components of development projects being delivered by LAHC.


About You


Client service is paramount in our day to day efforts, and you will work closely with your stakeholders to implement the community engagement strategy to ensure program expectations are met.

You will have proven capability in the implementation of engagement plans including writing engagement material as well as experience operating in a dynamic legislative, policy, and political environment.


In this role you will engage regularly with the community to identify local issues and impacts that are relevant to project tasks, facilitate drop-in sessions and events, respond to community enquiries and complaints, and prepare communications material to engage positively with the community.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualifications in public relations, communications, community engagement and/or
  • Demonstrated experience in community engagement in a property development or infrastructure environment will be an advantage
