We are seeking an experienced and energetic
Remote Monitoring Manager for our _CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management) _business, based in _Sydney.

_


Reporting to the _Clinical Services Manager_, this role will provide national administration management of the entire Abbott Remote Monitoring service across Australia and New Zealand.

This will be achieved by working with the national remote monitoring team utilising , Merlin on Demand and the Paging service.

In addition, this role will work in close collaboration with Sales to achieve clinical and sales targets.


Your responsibilities include (and not limited to):

  • Act as team leader and technical expert for device management in and Merlin Monitor/App with the ability to provide training or trouble shooting
  • Follow all protocols and deliver on all service level agreement timeframes set out for the Australian PCN service; have an understanding of the legal requirement and our obligations with regards to the provision of a remote monitoring service
  • Work with National remote monitoring team to manage a national PCN service offered customers
  • Technical review/processing of all transmission types
  • Remote technical support including providing patient technical phone support service for connectivity issues
  • Operate projects and selfidentify areas for continual improvements in service efficiency; including the tailoring of alert settings and clinical suggestions for optimal settings for each patient
  • Answer customer/rep queries about the PCN service including workflow advice for specific accounts
  • Proactive sales calls with customers
  • Statistic collection and collation/reporting of data to assess potential and current service impact of future products and help improve efficiency
  • Set up new clinics in collaboration with field team
  • Maintain and distribute education and marketing material for HCP and Patients

Who we're looking for:


  • Tertiary qualifications in biomedical / engineering / medical science / human movement or related is essential
  • 3 years' experience in Cardiac Rhythm management
  • CRM full certification; demonstrated understanding of the function and purpose of pacing products in order to operate as a technical support expert through follow up certification
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a broad area and leading a team; prior experience in leading a technical team is highly regarded
  • Proven track record in delivering targets in a complex, solution support and selling environment
  • Good understanding of the industry process and function; able to convincingly discuss this with customers, as well as internal and external experts
  • Patientcentric, customerfocused and empathetic
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate clinical detail into relatable information
  • Business acumen and analytical skills
  • Proactive, resilient selfstarter who thrives in a fastpaced innovative environment
