(Operational, People and Culture, Talent Acquisition Optimisation Projects)


A leading government department is looking for an experienced
Project Manager or
Management Consultant that can lead end to end projects across interesting pieces of work that involve changing and improving Workforce planning, People and Culture strategy, Talent Optimization, Recruitment and Operations.


Reporting to a very supportive Director (HR, Business improvements in processes and systems), this role will pave the way for strategy and business improvements across the way they do business across their operating models in HR, Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning program of works.

Your core responsibilities will be your strong project & management consultancy across these areas of the business:


  • Some of the key responsibilities:
  • Research, analyse and review complex people strategy and policy issues, identifying emerging issues & provide solutions.
  • Provide expert policy advice and information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to enable project deliverables to be met.
  • Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation.
  • Manage a project team/s, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key project milestones and outcomes.
  • Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidencebased project planning and decision making.
  • Prepare correspondence, written reports, publications, and briefs, that are informative and aligned with organisational requirements, to respond to departmental and/or Government requests.
  • Headquarters is in Parramatta, you are only required to come into the office once a fortnight be very flexible for the right person to drive these projects.
  • Offering 12month contract
  • Day rate is slightly negotiable for the right person and experience with HR & Operational change with skilled Project Management skills
