With an expected mine life of 30+ years, it will underpin a long-term iron ore business and provide sustainable benefits to the regional community in which we operate.

The operation includes a large open pit mine, complex ore processing and beneficiation plant and significant infrastructure and logistics networks.

We are seeking an experienced
Mine Surveyor to join our site based Mining team, responsible for ensuring all site survey requirements and statutory obligations are met.

This permanent position operates on an
8 days on 6 days off roster.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities;

End of month reporting for stockpiles and mining volumes
Wall Stability Monitoring (Prism monitoring)
Exploration Surveys
Exploration Surveys
Infrastructure and Underground Services Surveys
UAVs System Operation
Maintain up to date Mine Plans for the pits, waste dumps, roads, stockpiles
Maintaining Survey Control for the operation
Ground Disturbance set outs and pick ups
Provide survey services to the Water, Project and other departments

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

A Diploma or Degree in Surveying
WA Mine Surveyor Grade 2 Authorisation (Advantageous)
Remote Pilot's Licence (Beneficial)
Experience working in Open Pit Mine
Experience Using Trimble Equipment (GPS and Robotic)
Experience Using Surpac, T4D and TBC Software
C Class driver's Licence
Unrestricted Quarry managers (Desirable)
National Police Clearance
Permanent work rights in Australia
