    We're going through a process to move to a new outsourced payroll system, and are looking for a Business Analyst to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, as we move payroll systems.

    This role will work closely with key stakeholders including People & Culture, Technology, Risk, and Procurement to enhance processes and governance contingency plans for payroll.

    The role requires a sound understanding of payroll and payroll data. Ideally you'll have worked on a payroll system implementation previously, and have good BA skills and the ability to contribute to the migration of data to an outsourcing payroll system. The scope of work includes activities surrounding operational business resilience, ensuring the delivery of improved back-end efficiencies.

    To be successful in this role, experience in payroll is a must-have, with experience in Workday being highly advantageous. We're looking for a BA with around 5 years experience to support our project.

    This is a hands on role, supporting a passionate and dynamic team on a critical project for our business and our people.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on the Payroll implementation project, and act as a conduit between business areas and project team.
    • Facilitate workshops and collaboration sessions for the elicitation of business requirements and analysis using agile concepts.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the operational environment. Seek feedback from internal stakeholders (Payroll and Finance) on the "as is & to be " of current systems and processes.
    • Create and maintain process mapping documentation for a variety of user levels.
    • Lead the migration of data to the new outsourced system environment.
    • Maintain project governance within the JIRA platform.
    • Support in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc presentations and reports
    • Participate in functional, user experience, and user acceptance testing as required.

    Qualifications

    • Due to the nature of the program, candidates require payrolling experience. Experience in a previous payroll implementation would be highly regarded.
    • 5 + years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in payroll system implementation.
    • Previous Workday experience is highly desirable.
    • Strong proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio
    • Demonstrated experience in projects delivering improved customer experience and back-end efficiencies, such as automation.
    • Strong experience of working in a consultative and collaborative environment to effect change.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being part of a high performing team.
