Employment type: 12-month Temporary, Fulltime role with the possibility of an Ongoing position**
Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6, $93,295 to $102,941 plus employers' contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role
This is a unique opportunity to work for the Office of the NSW Anti-Slavery Commissioner.

Your role will provide a range of executive support and administrative services to support the Commissioner's performance of his statutory role in advocating for and promoting effective action to combat modern slavery in NSW.

Your role will assist in the facilitating the delivery of business operations.


What you'll do


This role will work directly to the Commissioner where you will be responsible in managing diary appointments, scheduling, and supporting meetings to facilitate the effective management of the Commissioner's agenda.

This will also include managing the Commissioner's national travel commitments, financial and reporting needs, agendas, minutes and filing to support the achievement of business requirements.


You will be working in a high paced environment within a larger supportive team where there is a need to manage competing priorities, short deadlines, and heavy workloads at times.

The office works remotely so there as an expectation that you can work independently and effectively manage your time.


What we're looking for
We are looking for a dynamic individual with proven judgment providing high-level administrative and clerical support and client service.

You have a can-do attitude, a team player with a real passion for customer service, developing and managing relationships.

You can work autonomously, with strong written and verbal communication skills. You are resilient and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


You will have an attention to detail with the ability to assess and prioritise work, escalating as required, to ensure your function is carried out in a timely and efficient way.

Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
