Clerk Grade 7/8, Salary ($101, $112,849.00 pa) plus superannuation & annual leave loading

Your role
The Sexual Violence team, Women, Family and Community Safety Directorate, is recruiting for a Policy and Project Officer role.


What you'll do


As part of the Sexual Violence team, you will work on the development and implementation of a range of policies and projects, including statewide policy frameworks.


You will provide policy advice and analysis on sexual violence and gender-based violence issues and strategies, and contribute to projects under the team's workplan.

As a member of the team, you will work in partnership with a range of


internal and external stakeholders including other parts of the Department of Communities and Justice, NSW Health, the Department of Premier and Cabinet, the Australian Human Rights Commission and non-government service providers and advocacy groups.


What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of and experience in sexual violence and genderbased violence policy issues, including prevention, early intervention and response initiatives
  • Project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, and experience working with the sexual violence and genderbased violence sector
  • Sound written and interpersonal communication skills
