The Employer
This law firm is a genuine global player, employing thousands of lawyers across 25 countries.

The firm is also highly sought after as an employer.

Recognised as leading name in the legal profession, the firm is also widely acknowledged in numerous countries as an Employer of Choice and a place where business services and support professionals are as well-rewarded and well-supported as the firm's fee-earning legal staff.

Offering industry leading benefits, the Australian arm of the firm has a long history and its HR function sits as part of a wider, well-resourced, Asia-Pac and then global team.

This opportunity will therefore allow you to be part of both an impressive and well-resourced global function, whilst still being empowered with your own local responsibilities.

The Opportunity

As HR Advisor you will work closely with the firm's National HR Manager to manage on-the-ground needs for the firm's successful Perth office.

As part of a close-knit national HR team, you'll also take on national projects and responsibilities.

This is all with the support of a global HR function including resourcing, admin and remuneration - giving you the chance to step away from coordinating and admin work and build your business partnering skills.

Your responsibilities will be generalist and could be as varied as appraisals & remuneration reviews, grad-scheme management, international secondments, HR strategy and L&D.

This position is offered with full-time hours as a maternity leave cover, on a minimum 14-month fixed-term contract. (June start date.)

About you

You will be an experienced HR professional with strong generalist experience - able to manage the whole employee life-cycle, whilst juggling a variety of national and regional HR projects.

You will also be an excellent communicator who is happy to work with people at all levels. Your CV will have proven experience of connecting with senior stakeholders to effect change.

Ideally, your experience will have been gained within another professional services partnership environment; experience in a law firm would be highly regarded.

Why apply?
***This is a rare chance for a Perth-based HR, Talent or recruitment professional to join a leading international law firm, whose name would be an excellent addition to any CV

This role offers genuine career growth potential, you'll join a firm that is looking to increase its Australian presence and you'll have a supportive and experienced HR Manager as your mentor; yet you'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills as you work autonomously on your own projects.

This position is available on a fixed-term, full-time basis and offers a generous salary plus benefits including private healthcare and a discretionary bonus.
