We are looking for an Purchasing Admin Officer for our client that is a global company in West of Melbourne.

Our client is a global owned company, with a global reach and a large Australian presence.

The role


You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, identifying purchasing needs, researching potential vendors, tracking orders, updating internal databases with order details, handling shipping documents, evaluating vendor offers, liaising with vendors, and maintaining accurate records of invoices and goods.

Their role is essential in maintaining a fully stocked inventory and optimizing the procurement process for the organization.


Key responsibilities include;

  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
  • Research potential vendors
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Update internal databases with order details
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
  • Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
  • Maintain updated records of invoices and goods
  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
  • Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

About You

  • Excellent Customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Good energy, strong motivation towards work
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Must have full wroking rights in Australia
  • You need a car to commute to the office (highly recommended)
