Your new role


Come join our passionate People and Culture team in this exciting opportunity, where you will work closely with SME's and a broad range of stakeholders to further enhance employee training options available across digital platforms at Curtin University.


Key duties and responsibilities include:


  • Designing and delivering a range of engaging employee learning solutions to support the development and training of our staff members.
  • Partnering with SME's and a variety of stakeholders to agree appropriate solutions to meet employee training needs across digital platforms.
  • Monitoring and managing the Learning Management system including liaising with the vendor to ensure we are receiving the maximum potential out of the product.
  • Reinvigorating our approach to elearning across the university through providing strategic advice to a broad range of solutions; and utilising your creativity and problemsolving abilities to suggest ideas on how we can do things better and more efficiently.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Completion of a relevant postgraduate degree in education; or extensive experience and management expertise in the delivery of on-line learning; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated leadership in the innovative development of online learning, through informed and extensive practice.
  • Sound experience in instructional design and innovative learning approaches
  • Demonstrated experience with learning management systems and online learning for usability, accessibility, and quality assurance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work both collaboratively in team environments, and independently.
  • High level of organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
