Your new role

Our Office of Strategy and Planning Team is seeking a Market Analyst (Data Analyst) with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex business problems.

This opportunity would suit a customer-oriented individual who thrives working in a collaborative and positive culture. The role provides exposure to all areas of the University and reports to the Manager, Product and Pricing.

This includes:

Undertake market reviews and scans to understand customer behaviour, inform pricing and targeting decisions, and influence new product development.
Analyse, interpret and model datasets to support market reviews and strategic planning activities.
Support strategic planning activities across the University.
Undertake strategic projects and collaborate on crossfunctional projects.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities to facilitate improved service delivery and customer experience.

About you

A degree in commerce, business, or a quantitative discipline with relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to analyse large datasets as well as a strong attention to detail.
Global mindset that enjoys identifying innovative solutions to complex problems.
Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills to deliver insights and recommendations tailored to the audience.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work on varied projects.
Proven ability to manage time effectively to meet priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
