About You
As a Test Analsyt with Facto, you will have mixture of the following skills and capabilities:

  • Work well in a team and independently
  • You communicate well with both highlevel stakeholders and junior testers
  • You can identify potential blockers and know how to remove them (or escalate appropriately)
  • You have good experience with end to end testing
  • You are a logical and analytical thinker

About the Role
This role is based on site at Bupa in the Sydney CBD.

This is a hybrid role working 2 to 3 days a week in the office and the other days from home.


There are currently more than a few projects happening within Bupa - the main Program is CEP (Customer Engagement & Personalisation) - It is a data driven, algorithm-based system that personalises marketing content for customers - API's, integrations, data transformation types of testing - The objective is, within your squad, to do the UI testing to ensure a better customer/user experience.


It's complex because it retrieves the data required for personalisation from different core systems with lots of end-to-end testing involved.

It is also a bit challenging because the testing standards are not consistent across the board, so there is a level of consulting involved in terms of industry best practice

What you'll be doing.
The principal tasks of this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Functional Testing on Digital Applications (UI, integration)
  • Experience working in the insurance, finance or superannuation domain
  • Identifying and defining business needs regarding user requirements
  • Developing strong working relationships with stakeholders, SMEs, BAs, POs and Scrum Masters

What you'll need
Essential

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Test Analyst working in a large organization
  • Experience working in insurance, finance or superannuation domain
  • Good experience with UI and/or Regression testing
  • Good understanding on the use of a decisioning engine that consume data and determine personalised marketing content and customer engagement channels
  • Good understanding of the SDLC, Agile methodology
  • SQL (Any level is fine, but zero experience might be a hinderance)
