The Opportunity


We are seeking a motivated, customer-centric Trade Counter Sales / Warehouse Operator to join our Regency Park Gyprock Trade Centre.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for identifying and exploring new opportunities for CSR to grow the business by selling the benefits of our products to builders, contractors, architects, designers and DIY customers.

Treating our business like your own, you will work closely with your customers to understand their businesses and help them to succeed, whilst working with our close-knit team to ensure the highest warehousing and retail standards are maintained.


Some key responsibilities will include:


  • To assist in the day to day activities within the store
  • Processing orders, invoices and payments
  • Maintaining high standards of displays and merchandising in our store.
  • Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, loading vehicles by hand, etc.
  • Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping
  • Maintaining housekeeping within the warehouse area
  • Ensuring equipment such as forklifts and company delivery vehicles are correctly maintained, and all daily prestart checks are completed
  • Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to, as well as requirements under chain of responsibility
  • Contributes to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets
  • Availability to assist with various GTC sites when required.

What you will bring:


  • Friendly, engaging, confident and resilient
  • Strong customer service & retail sales experience
  • Flexible attitude and enjoys a challenge "No job too small, no task too great"
  • Enjoys working in a tightknit team environment
  • Physically fit comfortable doing a 25kg single lift
  • Valid forklift license
  • Drivers Licence
  • Great computer skills

Hours of Work:


  • Monday to Friday: 6:30am 3.30pm or 7.00am 4.00pm.
Hours outside of this will be paid in overtime including Saturdays if required:
7:30am-11:30am
