Base circa of up to $70,000 plus superannuation

The company

Due to consistent growth, this well-known and trusted multinational brand is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative, based in Brisbane to join their team.

Our client manufactures a range of LV to MV electrical motors for the HVAC and industrial markets - water, mining, oil & gas, power, sugar, food & beverage, and agriculture.

The position
Your role will be to deliver exceptional levels of service, mainly in the industrial sectors.

The role will require your technical competence matched with customer service skills.

You will need to be an excellent communicator, organised, and have the ability to prioritise and consistently exceed customer expectations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
Responding promptly to customer enquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Communicating with customers through various channels.
Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Processing orders and preparing quotes and tenders to support the external sales function.
Working with offshore manufacturing facilities to ensure enough product is being shipped to meet customer demand.

To be successful in this role you must have:

Electrical Trade Certificate or Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Degree, is preferred but not essential.
Strong Electrical industry experience and product knowledge is preferred.
Previous experience in a customer service/internal sales position.
Experience with CRM systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
