Federal Government Agency to engage an

APS5 to EL1 Data Analyst.
***This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial

contract until 15/03/2024.

Duties

Support publication of sector wide demand and assessments in partnership with external Partners
Support delivery of verified education data sets to underpin commonwealth Loan Payments
Operate the Tertiary Collection of Student Information system to ensure the timely data for internal decision makers and external partners
Oversight of data system build, optimisation, and/or remediation work

Requirements/Skills
- high level MS Excel and Power BI skills to support the translation of complex data into user friendly products;
- advanced statistical analysis, including familiarity with use of SAS (or equivalent) software to build bespoke customer solutions; and
- data system build and system integration skills to optimise outcomes for customers and identify, document and reduce known system risks.

Ability to obtain and/or maintain clearance at Baseline level
