Group Risk Manager

CROWN MELBOURNE
Crown Melbourne is looking for a Group Risk Manager to join our growing team. The primary purpose of this position is to provide proactive, professional risk management support and guidance to Crown Melbourne.

Reporting to the Head of Risk - Melbourne, the Group Manager is part of a team that is responsible for oversight of risk management for Crown Melbourne, including adherence to the Risk Management Strategy (RMS) and supporting risk frameworks.

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

Manage and provide support and guidance to property management to ensure adherence to requirements in the RMS and supporting frameworks
Ensure that the Crown Melbourne risk profile is developed and maintained (in line with the requirements of the RMS).
Provide advice and input on the management of key projects and initiatives at Crown Melbourne, ensuring associated risks and any impact on the integrity of existing operations and controls are adequately managed.
Lead Line 2 oversight and reporting of propertyspecific risks, issues and events for Crown Melbourne
Engage with relevant business stakeholders at Crown Melbourne to effectively communicate expectations and support the business in identifying and managing risks.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Risk Management, or other relevant discipline
Extensive experience in Risk Management roles (or associated competencies) at ASXlisted or large companies.
Experience engaging with Regulators and Independent Bodies is desirable.
Excellent verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to build trust and credibility amongst a diverse group of stakeholders
Strong written communications skills with previous experience preparing documentation for presentation to Executive level management
Strong problemsolving ability coupled with the ability to think innovatively.
