About the role:


As a Finance Business partner, you will work with senior members of both the National Technology team and SCA Executive team to ensure that the commercial operations are aligned with SCA's corporate strategy, business plans and annual budgets.


You will take a proactive, consultative and strategic approach to working with your stakeholders, and will be comfortable influencing senior leaders to optimise commercial outcomes for SCA and all respective business units.


What you'll be doing:


  • Owning the commercial and financial management, and oversight of all allocated SCA business units.
  • Oversee the development of financial models, annual business plans, KPI setting and reporting that will assist the business in driving optimal performance and efficiency across teams
  • Lead group wide commercial projects that improve the outcomes of the business.
  • Develop and ensure the integrity of all monthly financial reports and manage the deployment of capital across the business to maximise ROI.
  • Implementing efficient capex processes and systems.

Experience & skills we're looking for:

  • Significant experience in a senior finance role and proficiency in relation to management accounting and the preparation of management reports
  • Comprehensive understanding of fundamental accounting and operational issues
  • A thorough understanding of the key business drivers for a large, complex organisation such as SCA
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to add value and assist in the development of business plans and setting of goals and objectives
