One of Australia's most prominent Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced
Service Designer to join their newly formed team to establish and embed a digital reform integrated Service Design and Assurance function.

The role can be based in
Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne with the ability to work a few days a week from home.

The successful
Service Designer will be offered a
contract until December 2023 partnered with a 12-month extension option.
The successful
Service Designer will be responsible for the below:

Developing business models and roadmaps for implementing an integrated Service Design function
Establishing effective governance to act as a design authority to provide quality assurance
Operating a Service Design "Centre of Excellence" to ensure consistency, transparency and alignment of ICT changes
Understanding the research activities across the reforms and perform User Experience and Service Design functions

The successful
Service Designer will have experience in the following:

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Service Design concepts and structures
Ability to work with delivery partners and key stakeholders
Good experience with User Research and outputs such as User Journeys and Blueprints
Experience with engagement, collaboration and planning functions across Federal Government (desirable)
