Capability Administration Assistant

The opportunity
Silverchain is actively seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to our Training and Capability Services.

You will come from a strong administration background and be able to communicate at a high level with all different areas of the business and its stakeholders.

You will enjoy multitasking, have keen attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines.


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support in word processing to ensure documentation meets Silverchain Group National Standards.
  • Provide support and assistance in relation to the coordination of meetings, training workshops and calendaring including scheduling appointments with internal and external parties to support the Group Capability team.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure timely and accurate processing employee/supplier documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial documentation including processing invoices.
  • Provide general administrative support in preparing and updating presentations, spread sheets and databases.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of Service Delivery Centre/Business Unit functions.
  • Provide relief support to the administrative function of the Service Centre/Business Unit to ensure adequate coverage of leave.
  • Provide general administrative support and other duties deemed necessary by Team leader/Manager in order for the relevant Service Centre/Business Unit to meet operational needs.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated high-level administration skills and experience in a similar role
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software tools
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and listening) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your own time.
  • A teamcentred attitude and enjoyment within a fastpaced environment.
  • Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration desirable
