    We at Chandler Macleod are looking for experienced individuals to fill our Transport Manager role and our Warehouse Manager role.

Transport Manager


Embark on a rewarding journey as a Transport Manager, overseeing the dynamic operations of our Transport Department within financial constraints.

This full-time, on-site opportunity comes with an attractive salary package of up to $115k, plus Super. Take the driver's seat for success


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and proper deliveries, monitoring driver performance.
  • Maintain vehicles and good relationships with maintenance providers.
  • Comply with legal and ethical standards in all company activities.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and evaluation.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels for smooth operations.
  • Understand and enforce safety regulations for driving and handling.
  • Follow HACCP compliance and keep accurate records daily.
  • Manage budgets, wages, and freight charges within guidelines.
  • Address driverrelated issues as per company procedures.
  • Communicate with supervisors, fleet managers, and relevant teams.
  • Efficiently route trucks and staff for optimal delivery.
  • Liaise with Food Service Specialist for customer needs and feedback.
  • Attend daily credit meetings, manage invoice collection.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Needs to be flexible to work between 4am7pm, not required to work that whole time but start times may shift occasionally.
  • Familiar with Victorian Driver Safety Laws.
  • Strong people management.
  • Handles pressure, time management.
  • Proficient in routing and MFG-PRO.
  • Knows metropolitan and country areas.
  • Experienced in people management.

Warehouse Manager

  • Provide essential training and ensure policy adherence.
  • Lead stock takes and manage wage budgets.
  • Complete and file necessary paperwork.
