Support Workers play a crucial role in assisting older individuals to maintain their independence and stay connected to the community. Wesley Mission is currently seeking dedicated Home Care Workers in the Sutherland 2232 area and nearby regions.

About You

You are a compassionate and dependable individual eager to bring about a positive impact on the lives of older community members.

In addition, you have:

Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
Previous experience in aged care or community support, or a strong interest in entering this field
Excellent communication abilities and the knack for building relationships
Valid Australian Drivers Licence with a reliable and insured vehicle
Proof of COVID19 vaccination (2 doses) and a valid First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one before employment)
A strong commitment to empowering older individuals to live independently within the community

Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous due to the diverse backgrounds of our clients.
