    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Purchasing Officer to join a dynamic team in Brisbane. This role offers an attractive salary based on experience, plus flights and accommodation provided. The successful candidate will be part of a thriving organisation that values collaboration, commitment, and understanding.     Attractive salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 + super
    Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team
    Flexible working opportunities between site and office

    What you'll do:

    As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's procurement processes. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, implementing inventory control measures, and working collaboratively with other departments. Your ability to forecast demand, ensure supply continuity, and continually improve purchasing strategies will be key to your success in this role. You will also be expected to prepare detailed reports on purchasing activities and performance.

    • Manage and oversee all aspects of the company's procurement processes
    • Develop strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money
    • Implement effective inventory control measures to optimise stock levels
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to forecast demand and ensure supply continuity
    • Continually review and improve purchasing strategies to drive efficiency
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards in all procurement activities
    • Prepare and present detailed reports on purchasing activities and performance
