Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handle purchasing parts and consumables for production and spare parts, ensuring timely availability and costeffectiveness.
- Utilise excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers, establish beneficial partnerships, and secure competitive deals.
- Demonstrate professional phone mannerisms while engaging with stakeholders and addressing purchasing and inventory management inquiries.
- Leverage your equipment/manufacturing background to optimise inventory levels and ensure seamless production processes.
- Benefit from your experience with SAP or similar systems as you adapt to our specific system through provided training.
- Utilise Word and Excel to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Streamline procurement procedures and enhance efficiency based on previous purchasing experience.
- Collaborate effectively in a small team environment to achieve common goals.
- Showcase selfmotivation and organisational skills to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist other departments or areas when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in purchasing and inventory management, focusing on production and spare parts.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous background in equipment manufacturing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well in a small team environment.
- Selfmotivated and wellorganised with excellent time management skills.
