About the role

As the Category Specialist - Software you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Global Software category strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology procurement professional.

You will enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders to influence and manage a broad portfolio of software procurement activities.

You have a passion for innovation and can speak the language of today's technology landscape.

Reporting to the Global Category Lead - Software you will:

Support the Global Category Lead in managing the software category including fact base development, strategy development, strategy implementation, contract implementation and contract/supplier management.
Deliver strategic software sourcing projects.
Build and manage effective relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders.
Provide commercial leadership and guidance to broader organization in relation to the category.
Build and grow relationships with category suppliers to drive innovation and value.
Collaborate with other areas of the broader technology procurement team who support the category.

About you

You will have had significant prior experience in Technology Procurement as well as a proven record of leading to drive successful commercial outcomes.

Additionally you will have the;

Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
Desire to drive a culture of collaboration, participation and improvement
Ability to think and act strategically, manage multiple projects and effectively prioritise workloads
Confidence to act independently and demonstrate expert commercial judgement.
Mining software knowledge is desirable
