As a
Mechanical Fitter based in
Clayton, Victoria, you will report to the Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for servicing, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining the plant, machinery, and other equipment.

This is a Day Shift role.

Responsibilities:

Examine faulty machinery and equipment for defects.
Dismantle equipment, cleaning or replacing damaged or worn parts.
Assemble parts, tooling to ensure an accurate fit, testing reassembled equipment, and readjusting if necessary.
Carry out preventative maintenance and minor modifications to machinery.
Maintain plant and equipment.
Ensure materials and tools are adequately stored and all tools and equipment are maintained mechanically sound and clean.
Follow all company policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics.
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all work carried out on plant and machinery.
Experience with machining including Lathe and Mill.
Basic Welding.
Comply with all health and safety rules and procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in process and manufacturing experience with the appropriate Trades qualification.
Experience working in hazardous environments would be an additional advantage.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Comfortable using MS Office Suite.
