About the Role


Lifeline Sydney & Sutherland is seeking expressions of interest from you, our awesome volunteers, who may be interested in becoming paid Crisis Supporters.


Lifeline Australia allocates the centre the number of funded paid hours each financial year, and the contract is reviewed every 12 months.

It is a requirement paid Crisis Supporters can fulfil their commitments to the service.

These contracted hours are performance-managed with Lifeline Australia and reviewed every 12 months to ensure we are achieving and/or exceeding expectations.

You will also be required to ensure your accreditation requirements are maintained. All call coaching, group supervision, and personal development hours are strictly followed.


Essential Criteria
- minimum Internship accreditation and regularly fulfilling rostered shifts consistently
- must be committed to fulfilling allocated shifts
- available to work any day of the week, Monday through Sunday
- available to work shifts rostered between 5pm to 11pm Monday to Friday and between 10am to 11pm Saturday's & 1pm to 11pm Sunday's (including Public Holidays)
- you will need to make yourself available for a minimum of at least ONE shift per week.
