Full Time Ongoing


Business Services Band C:
$87,887 - $96,677 per annum plus 10.5% statutory superannuation.


Location:
Negotiable across SRW sites, flexible work options available including working from home

About the Role

Are you experienced in data analysis and looking for a new opportunity within a flexible organisation? If so, then the Data Analyst position at Southern Rural Water may be the perfect role for you

Southern Rural Water are currently seeking a solution focused and driven Data Analyst within the ICT team.

This role will be responsible for developing the data and information capability across SRW sites and business units, requiring an individual with exceptional attention to detail.

As the Data Analyst, some of your responsibilities will include:
Identify various data sources and structures
Take the lead technical role for the establishment of the SRW Data Management platform
Extract and integrate required data sources for analysis in accordance with business requirements
Interpret data for operational information and reporting purposes
Data capture, analysis and development and enhancement of existing performance reports
Enhancement and continued development of automated reporting to streamline work allocations
Prepare consistent, accurate and timely reports on performance, trends and workload management
Providing analysis on reports that are meaningful, reliable and relevant to branch strategic outcomes
Support business areas to document and refine operating procedures and processes for recording and maintaining data
Identify opportunities using data to identify trends and improve efficiency of the process to enhance performance and the participant experience

About you

Diploma or Degree qualified in computer science, information technology or a relevant discipline
Great time management skills
Previous experience in data analysis at a medium to large government organisation
Excellent Microsoft Excel competency
Competent in data management/reporting and or business improvement
Great verbal and written communication skills
Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Analysis skills to drive a simple, clean, accurate and timely service of data to drive customer value
Ability to work well within a team
Adaptable to a changing environment
