Full Time Ongoing


Band D:
$96,677 - $111,913 per annum plus 10.5% statutory superannuation.


Location:
Negotiable across SRW major offices (Maffra, Mitcham, Werribee)

About the Role

The Contracts and Procurement Advisor will support the procurement of large and strategic capital delivery contracts and will ensure that SRW is compliant with the Victorian Government Procurement, social procurement obligations and achieves value for money procurement outcomes.

This role will suit an individual who has excellent attention to detail and works well with limited supervision.

Working within the Asset Future team this role initially be required to prepare contract procurement plans, conduct contract procurement, and ensure construction procurement compliance within set policies and procedures.

As the Contracts and Procurement Advisor, some of your key accountabilities will include:

Advise and provide support in relation to probity, equity, transparency and compliance to policies and procedures in the development of tender documentation and tender evaluation.

Prepare and review contract terms to achieve process consistency and compliance across the organisation.
Maintain and develop contract administration procedures, maintaining SRW contracts register and contracts reporting obligations.

About You

An appropriate tertiary qualifications or experience in contract and/or procurement management.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of contract and/or procurement systems and processes.
  • Detail focus, with the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in all correspondence and contract and procurement t administration.
  • Successful time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in staff training, contract and procurement management.
Demonstrated problem solving skills including the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
