Availability exists for a motivated and enthusiastic Endoscopy Technician to join our perioperative team on a casual basis.

Hospital is located in the rapidly developing North West corridor of Sydney and is operated by Healthscope, a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia.

The hospital has 277 beds and is a high acuity facility with an Emergency Department located in Sydney's Bella Vista.

Our Endoscopy department comprising of 2 state of the art Operating Theatres - 6 bay first stage Recovery and 6 bay second stage Recovery.

We cater for Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, stent insertion procedures

As an Endoscopy Technician your responsibilities will include cleaning, disinfecting, testing, maintenance of Endoscopy equipment, and processing of Olympus 190 series and 1500 series scopes.

Essential Criteria:

Good written and communication skills
Minimum 2 years' experience
A positive "can do" attitude with a strong work ethic
Excellent attention to detail
An ability to achieve high quality standards whilst working independently
GENCA accreditation
Flexibility of work hours

Desirable Criteria:

Intermediate computer skills
Certificate III in sterilization services or working towards
