The 12-week cadetship/internship program within the Westpac Group will see you working alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience to complement your field of study, and all training provided to help you develop the skills and knowledge to succeed in your role.

Given the nature of these positions, you must be studying computer science, information technology, data or similar at University to be eligible.

Duties Include:


  • Assist in the design, development and maintenance of systems
  • Ensure data is accurate and consistently updated
  • Prepare and run various data reports and analyses
  • Provide support in the integration and migration of data into platforms
  • Participate in training sessions, meetings and workshops

About You:


  • Strong interest in data and data platform technology
  • High attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Can multitask whilst meeting deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
