About the Hospital


St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital, owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, is a 203-bed hospital and is revolutionising private health care in the Ipswich and West Moreton region.

We've been growing and expanding our clinical capabilities and have recently opened the region's first private emergency department along with a new intensive care unit which supports the Emergency Department.


The hospital is extremely well-situated, and its management supports and encourages medical staff to achieve work-life balance, while actively supporting their professional development.


The Opportunity

  • Gain great experience across a wide range of specialties, a varied case mix, be surrounded by supportive consultants; all within a great team environment and awesome culture.
  • You will provide a highquality clinical service to hospital patients under the supervision of clinical supervisors including Registrars, Consultants, and other senior staff within a multidisciplinary team.
  • You will work within your ability and expand your knowledge and skills through the available learning opportunities.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (Medical Board)
  • Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience as a Registered Medical Practitioner
  • Recent experience in an Emergency Department
