ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to expand our client base within the ACT and strengthen strategic partnerships, with a clear focus on promoting and selling FUJIFILM Data Management Solutions' digitisation services. 

In this role, you'll champion our advanced scanning, digital transformation, and document management solutions, helping organisations and government agencies optimise their processes and enhance information accessibility.

This position is perfect for someone who excels at building relationships, uncovering client needs, and converting opportunities into long-term value through tailored digitisation offerings. 

You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership, sales, and marketing teams to shape our digitisation growth strategy and secure new business opportunities across government and private sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across government and private sectors, with a focus on digitisation and scanning solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and champion for FUJIFILM DMS's advanced digital transformation offerings.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine business development strategies that align with organisational objectives, market trends, and evolving client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, sales, and marketing teams to create tailored, integrated technology and managed services solutions that address specific customer requirements and deliver measurable value.
  • Maintain comprehensive oversight of business development pipeline activities, tracking progress, forecasting sales, and regularly reporting on key performance indicators to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging market trends to anticipate opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure FUJIFILM DMS remains at the forefront of the sector.
  • Engage in client presentations, negotiations, and proposal development, ensuring all communications reflect the company's commitment to integrity, innovation, and exceptional service delivery.
  • Leverage CRM systems (such as Salesforce) and advanced MS Office skills to manage client information, monitor engagement, and drive efficiencies in business development processes.

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated track record of success in business development, sales, or related commercial roles, consistently exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with a proven capacity to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, known for a proactive, hands-on approach that delivers tangible, results-oriented outcomes.
  • Expertise in cultivating trust and building enduring relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships and customer loyalty.
  • Extensive experience in managing and optimising sales pipelines, ensuring accurate forecasting and sustained business growth.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in leveraging Salesforce or other CRM platforms to drive operational efficiency and enhance client engagement.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and adept at working independently while maintaining a high level of productivity and initiative.
  • Holds a valid driver's licence, ensuring flexibility and readiness for travel as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 4 years' sales experience, including at least 2 years in business   development
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded
