Once upon a time, this insurance business required a team to provide strategic and operational support through the development of relevant and impactful propositions for both superfund partners and their members.

And so, the Marketing, Communications and Propositions Development team was formed.


As the Propositions Development Manager on this team, your primary responsibility will be to utilizing Human-Centered Design methodologies, and your own strategic problem-solving skills, to develop and deliver innovation initiatives that provide meaningful experiences for customers.

Incorporating customer feedback and research, you will constantly refine offerings to ensure they are meeting their customer's needs. Market analysis will also be crucial in managing the portfolio of propositions and pipeline of new opportunities. You will also develop and pilot engagement initiatives/programs with superfund partners.

Collaboration will be key in this role.

You will work together with the business to create impactful ideas and solutions, and engage with superfund partners to secure buy-in and deliver propositions within agreed timelines.

As an experienced facilitator, you will confidently present new concepts, frameworks, approaches, and propositions to internal and external stakeholders, leading workshops and unlocking creative collaboration.


To be successful in this role, you will need to have 5-7 years of experience working in a similar role (Super and/or Industry Fund experience a bonus) sectors.

You should also possess experience in innovation programs, development of digital solutions, and practical knowledge of Google sprint and agile methodologies.

Knowledge of the Life Insurance industry, including underwriting, claims, and product processes, is helpful.

Strong communication and presentation skills, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, planning capability, and experience in conducting primary customer research are also necessary.
