Ongoing Full-Time (80 hours with monthly ADO) Administration Officer (HS1)
Our Journey
The Aged and Community Care (ACC) Program provides an interdisciplinary service to support older people in the community.
The program aims to keep the client independent within their community, proactively promoting health, independence, and self-management whilst assisting with timely interventions to prevent deterioration of the condition, and admission to hospital or residential care.
It is a very exciting time to work in aged care, with aged care reforms putting older Australians first, improving quality, safety and choice in aged care.
A Day in the Life.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join the Aged and Community Care Program.
Drawing upon professional expertise in healthcare administration, the Administration Officer provides direct administrative support to the Aged and Community Care multidisciplinary team and Program Manager/Team Leaders to ensure the delivery of timely client-centered care.
This position is responsible for administrative duties, data entry, and flow of information within the program.The Administration Officer participates in process and quality improvement activities within the team and larger Aged and Community Care Program.
This is a unique opportunity to join our large, friendly community-based team.This position is based with the Aged and Community care team may be required to work at any of the Monash Health sites.
What you will Bring:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated productivity; including initiative, good problemsolving skills, judgement and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, compassionate & able to work collaboratively
What you need:
Certificate III/ Diploma Business Administration and/or equivalent training or demonstrated experience in a similar role
