Instrument Technician Grade 4
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experience Instrument Technician to join our Sterilising Services Department.


About The Role


We are keen to bring on board a quick learner who shares our determination to carry out quality work and provide first class service and support.

We need someone who is naturally flexible and able to adapt quickly when priorities and routines change.

Our specialties include Cardiothoracic, Paediatrics, Neurology, ENT, General, Urology, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics.

About You

  • Hold a Certificate IV Sterilising Services and a minimum 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in a hospital setting
  • Have a good knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 and GENCA guidelines
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be highly organised and motivated with the ability to multi task in a busy shared work place
  • Have ability to prioritise and a high attention to detail
  • Be team orientated
  • Be able to work a 24/7 roster including weekends, Public Holidays and Night Duty
