Position Description:
We are on the lookout for a new Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Tullamarine.

This is an exciting time to join Fonterra to support not only the uplift of our existing manufacturing plant, but also new Greenfield projects and play a significant role in our company's success.

The Role
As Maintenance Fitter, you're responsible for mechanical maintenance across our production lines.

You'll maintain all machinery to the prescribed level of safety and efficiency and use your problem-solving skills to confidently fault find and repair breakdowns.

You will also support key Maintenance & Engineering initiatives such as new line setups and continuous improvement programs.

What you'll bring
Your ability to flex between BAU, breakdowns, and project work, as well as your problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, will be highly valued, along with:

Level 4 Trade certificate in Fitting and Turning
Welding experience (advantage but not mandatory)
Proficiency in machine tool operation, i.e., lathe, mills, surface grinding
Computer literacy knowledge of MEX/SAP is highly beneficial, or a similar system
Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment such as FMCG or pharmaceutical
Exceptional fault finding and problemsolving skills
A delivery mindset
Restricted electrical license would be a huge bonus but not mandatory
A strong team player
