About the role


TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in Nursing to join our team of teachers in a full time position with location in Kingswood.


The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process.

The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.


About You
To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated:

  • A qualification at least one qualification level higher than Diploma (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Three years relevant postqualification experience in Acute care as Registered Nurse, at least part of which has been gained over the last 18 months
  • Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Knowledge and understanding of accreditation requirements of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council
  • Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent.
  • To be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
