About the Opportunity

English (all levels from Standard to Advanced)
Mathematics (all levels from Standard to Advanced)
Sciences (Biology, Physics, Chemistry)
PDHPE

Students who study the Higher School Certificate at TAFE may:

Have experienced disruptions to their normal schooling
Be seeking to improve their marks from previous HSC studies
Be returning to study after periods of employment to prepare for further tertiary studies
Have immigrated and need an Australian qualification for university entrance

We currently have a requirement for teachers on the
Ultimo campus.

We are also seeking to build a suitability list, which is valid for 3 years, which will be used to fill vacancies across the
Sydney region.

Classes may be held after school hours.

About you
You have demonstrated experience in teaching students from a variety of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. You are a passionate individual who thrives on supporting and mentoring a diverse group of students.

You have the ability to adapt your facilitation style to meet your students' needs and deliver in a clear concise manner.

You will have:

A degree with minimum of 1 year course work in one or more of the following disciplines: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English, Mathematics, PDHPE or Humanities.
Minimum of oneyear postqualification experience in a relevant teaching role*.

Highly Regarded - You will have general administration and competent computer skills to be able to manage your own administration associated with attendance, assessment, and delivery.

To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate ability in the Essential Requirements in the Position Description below.

Essential Requirements 5 -8 will be assessed during the interview/assessment process.

Please also note you will not be required to hold the TAE if you are teaching HSC courses.
