About the Role


This Key Account Manager is a key position in AAD which is one of Australia's largest Wholesaler / Distributor of Aftermarket Automotive parts and delivering an excellent customer service experience through our National Customer Service Network and our National Distribution footprint.

They are primarily responsible for delivering sales growth by building and maintaining strong and productive relationships with key internal and external accounts.

Drive strategic product opportunities to drive market share and sales growth through existing sales and develop new programs.

Ensure relevant product programs and new products are regularly communicated and delivered to customers.

Develop and activation of timely marketing activities assigned to each customer.

Put in place and present a clear strategy and direction to internal stakeholders and state management.


Oversee product and price files to ensure ranging and pricing is relevant to the market plus working with the finance team gain key data analysis to assess sales and financial performance.

Continuously review product ranges, ensuring distribution centres are carrying active product to support each customer.

Coordinate, attend and support events, trade shows and store openings.

About you


You will have proven and successful experience in building strong and lasting strategic relationships with customers at a senior level in a BTB sales environment.


A background of success and passion for account management and in achieving sales budgets with focus on margin and profitability on products in a wholesale or retail environment.

You will be an engaging individual with excellent communications skills and genuinely wanting to work in a collaborative environment.


Have worked in a role where you were required to keep up to date with market knowledge in terms of new products and competitor activity.

Ideally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification, with ability to analyse financial data and provide and present reporting.
