Atom Resources has partnered with a reputable Brisbane-based construction company that handles build, fitout, and refurbishment projects in the commercial and industrial sectors, with a focus on projects up to $10 million.

We are seeking a Leading Hand to join their team.

As Leading Hand, you will work alongside an experienced Site Manager to develop your skills and be given a clear plan of career advancement within the business.

Your New Role

In your new role you will:

Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the successful execution of construction projects
Provide handson leadership to onsite teams
Assist in managing project schedules, budgets and resources
Implement and enforce safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment
Collaborate with project stakeholders to meet project targets and goals
Demonstrate effective communication skills to keep all team members informed of progress
Occasionally work on the tools depending on project demands and experience level

What You Will Need to Succeed
To succeed in your new role you will have:

Trade background or relevant tertiary qualification, preferably carpentry background
Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials
Previous experience in leadership or supervision roles will be highly regarded
Ability to motivate and lead onsite teams effectively
Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills
A 'can do' attitude
Strong understanding of safety regulations
Experience in projects within live environments will be advantageous
