The Position

An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a reputable and culture-focused organisation located on the inner city suburbs of Brisbane.

Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the accounts payable team.

This role will allow you to be part of the full accounts payable process including invoice processing, reporting, data entry, reconciliations, end of month processes and ad hoc finance support to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities
This position is an integral role in the accounts function and requires an organised, passionate and skilled accounts professional.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Accounts Payable:

Processing a highvolume of invoices and credit notes;
Account reconciliations;
Gaining necessary approvals for payment of invoices;
Accurate coding and data input;

Skills & Experience

In addition, you will also:

High attention to detail;
Adaptive communication style to ensure an open, professional and friendly manner to all levels within the organisation;
Flexible work approach to meet the varying demands of an everchanging and high volume accounting environment;
Positive and friendly work ethic;
Intermediate experience with Excel.
