About the role:


The Executive Manager, Office of the CEO, is responsible for understanding and assisting the CEO in driving and delivering on key strategic business priorities.

The Executive Manager will provide experienced high-level secretarial support, demonstrating sound judgement, providing strategic partnership and appropriately anticipating the CEO needs.


In this role, the Executive Manager will work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work at a considerable pace and under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.


This role will be responsible for efficient schedule management, effective communications, and working with various internal and external stakeholders, to progress matters as required whilst managing competing priorities to enable the CEO to focus on impactful strategic initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the CEO, ANZ in driving and delivering on strategic priorities and overall market objectives.
  • Lead the broader EA community to deliver high levels of administration support.
  • Act as the first point of contact with clients, internal staff and other external parties including some media, regarding matters which call for the CEO's attention.
  • Act as a spokesperson for CEO, ANZ in coordinating the Executive Leadership team, personnel inquiries, implementation of projects, and other activities/initiatives as required.
  • Effective diary management and forward planning; determining importance of meeting requests in the context of priorities and balancing conflicting stakeholder requests.
  • Proactively manage the CEO's time including communications.
  • Prepare, collate and distribute agendas for meetings.
  • Travel coordination and management inclusive of booking accommodation and preparing detailed itineraries.
  • Preparation of any internal or external presentations, documents, speeches, announcements or responses.

  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
  • Highly resourceful and resilient team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
