Mahmoud (Moody) Al-hinti

I have double Master’s degree (Masters of Science in Clinical Chemistry, UTS and Master of Public Health / Health prevention & Infectious disease control from Sydney University. I have also a bachelor's degree in Biochemical Sciences / Medical Technology from Yarmouk University - Jordan and my qualification was recognised by AIMS as a hospital scientist. I have also undertaken postgraduate research studies in Special Biochemistry at UTS, Sydney 1998-2001. In addition, I am an associate member of the Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemists (AACB) and the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists (AIMS).

I have an extensive experience in multi-disciplinary laboratories with wide range of analysers including Chemistry, Endocrinology, Serology and Haematology. I have strong understanding of the importance of adhering to documented laboratory procedures, protocols and methods in order to satisfy all the requirements.

I am self-motivated, able to work unsupervised, well organised, and able to be part of a team. My organisational skills allowed me to communicate well with fellow workers, managers and clients in the hospital environment. I perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and perform a variety of tasks, problem solving techniques, demonstrated punctuality and accuracy and quality management. I have conducted regular auditing for most of the clinical chemistry testing areas. 
I am a hardworking and conscientious worker who regularly applies myself to the challenges ahead. I am able to assimilate into a new working environment in order to become a valued team member. I persevere to find solutions to problems, so the laboratory runs smoothly and to a high standard of patient care.

I believe I have excellent experience in computer literacy using windows operating system, Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, Power point presentations, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and other computer applications. I have a good understanding of the Laboratory Information Management System that allows any industry to integrate instruments or machines to terminals, customers, servers for easy access to database, reporting, support, and integration with any systems.

I have demonstrated my extensive experience and applied it in Problem Solving, Infection Prevention, Workplace Health and Safety, Risk Assessment monitoring and review, Financial and budget Management, Auditing ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, Australian health Legislations and guidelines,  
Team Building, Laboratory Practice, Laboratory Management and supervision NATA Accreditation preparation and documentation, Standard operating procedures, Communication Skills, Quality Control and quality management, Planning and Development, Performance Management Tender Implementation and Evaluation, Troubleshooting of instruments and QC internal and external, Statistical data Analysis, Strategic Thinking and Analytical Thinking, Staff Supervision and Training Management, Leadership and Management Skills.

Started my PhD few years ago but not finished due to overwhelmed work, family and projects.
I have two masters: Master of Public health and Master of Clinical Chemistry from Australia. 
I also have BSc in Biological Sciences/Medical Technology from Jordan.
