About the Position
Our client is seeking 2 enthusiastic and motivated Accounts Payable Officers to join their team within the Finance Program.

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will provide financial and administrative support to a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.

The role involves processing invoices, verifying, and certifying documents, managing queries and the reconciliation of vendor accounts.

Duties

Ensure invoices are processed accurately to meet weekly deadlines.
Respond to internal and external stakeholder enquiries
Participate in continuous improvement opportunities within the team
Complete monthly reconciliations and/or weekly internal followups
Manage electronic mailboxes on a rotational basis
Accurately process high volume of vendor invoices

Requirements/Skills

Minimum baseline security clearance
NV1 desired
Tertiary qualification in relevant field
Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role
Excellent data entry skills
Proficient in excel and the ability to format data
Experience using SAP, SAP Concur and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (PGPA Act) 2013
