Procurement officer
The focus of the role is to ensure the purchasing of goods and services are compliant with the Victorian Government purchasing policies and processes.
The role will also work closely with contract managers in program management teams to track and monitor contractual obligations with all suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the provision of procurement planning, analysis, management and reporting
- Work with internal stakeholders and colleagues to implement policies, systems and procedures and to identify changes where required
- Assist in developing Annual procurement plans, Procurement activity reporting, Benefits realization, Briefings and Submissions
- Undertake research and data analysis that supports procurement activities and strategies
Required
- Experience working as a Procurement Officer
- Experience in developing and implementing a range of procurement functions including strategic planning, contract management, purchasing, policies, processes, reporting and compliance
- Strong commercial, analytical and communication skills
- Public sector experience
