Opportunity
Our client is a high profile asset management organisation working in telecommunications, utilities, and transport sectors. Due to growth, they are seeking a Workforce Forecasting Planner to join their Melbourne team.

Reporting to the Resource Optimisation, Compliance and Planning Manager, you will be working in a friendly team to support the operational success for a number of key accounts in the telecommunications business unit, looking after a specific state or territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Workforce scheduling and analysis
  • Workforce demand forecasting and supply analysis
  • Capacity planning
  • Onboarding new technicians and contractors in the telecommunications industry ensuring compliance
  • Workforce analysis and reporting (PowerBI)
  • Collation of data and information across inboxes, ServiceNow, 23 internal systems for interpretation and analysis
  • Performance variance analysis
  • Continuous improvement activities identify areas to gain efficiencies
  • Work with a range of internal and client stakeholders and clients, a positive, professional customercentric approach

Success Measures

  • 3+ years working in a high performing, fastpaced workforce or resource operations
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvement for a fastpaced operational workforce
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, forecast and resource modelling
  • Demonstrated experience using Power BI reporting to monitor outcomes and performance
  • Demonstrated experience in working with various regulatory authorities
  • Skills in using Power BI, MS Word, Excel, and other operational systems ability to collate data from disparate sources
  • Great interpersonal skills ability to work with senior management and stakeholders at GM level, as well as external contractors and customers
  • Great customer service ethic, friendly team based approach, and ability to juggle a busy workload and priortitise tasks
  • Be able to work onsite 3 days per week in the Melbourne CBD (hybrid) at a minimum
Initial 6 months view to permanent with training budget, leadership development programs, share matching, hybrid flexibility.

You must have full working rights in Australia and be able to pass a national police check.
