We are looking for a
Specialist Communities and Social Performance (CSP) - Studies to provide support on complex studies and operate as a single point of contact on lower-complexity Studies.

This role will be offered as a full time 12 month fixed term contract in the first instance.

Reporting to the Senior Advisor CSP Studies you will be responsible for:


  • Providing support to the Senior Advisor on highcomplexity studies and taking ownership for less complex Studies
  • Planning and scheduling relevant technical CSP inputs necessary to support approvals and studies in a timely and appropriate manner, including: heritage surveys and technical inputs for cultural values assessments, social impact assessments, social economic baseline analysis, engagement and Social, Cultural and Heritage Management Plans as part of Part IV EP Act 1986 approvals
  • Supporting preparation and delivery of engagements with Traditional Owners and community stakeholders regarding proposed projects
  • Managing the risk profile of the Studies hub, ensuring appropriate management plans are in place to minimise impact of business activities on community stakeholders
  • Ensuring all information on respective Studies hub activities is communicated in a timely manner to relevant CSP SME's and managers

What you'll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Significant experience in Environmental Approvals or Environmental Management,, Social Science, Community Engagement, Life of Mine Planning or Cultural Heritage Management highly advantageous
  • Strong Project Management skills including scheduling and budget management
  • Spatial data system (i.e. ArcGIS) and MS Project experience beneficial
  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant degree preferred but not essential
