Infinity Care is seeking an enthusiastic SIL (Supported Independent Living) Accommodation Coordinator/Manager to join our growing Operations team in a full-time role based in our Kogarah Office.


Due to our continuous growth, we have opened an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated team leader to manage, coordinate, and provide direct support in implementing our SIL (Supported Independent Living) care services.

You will be taking on the leadership of this service and expected to drive cultural and clinical practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Supporting a team of Support workers, Care managers and Providers, they will benefit from your strong leadership abilities and self-motivation.

For this role, you will have a good understanding of the care industry, particularly home and community care as well have a clear understanding National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) working collaboratively with your team on client's person-centred plans.

About the role:


The SIL (Supported Independent Living) Accommodation Coordinator/Manager performs an integral role in ensuring the efficient running of the SIL House by co-ordinating customer, staff and Infinity services.


  • Oversee the daily operations and services in a Supported Accommodation Group Home around the St. George area
  • You will guide and mentor your team of Support Workers to create a safe and secure home for the residential clients.
  • Oversee general maintenance of house hold facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS and relevant regulations applicable to SIL house
  • Understand customer service needs or preferences, ensuring all relevant information is accessible for team members and service providers
  • Identify and participate in personal professional development
  • Ensure compliance with all Infinity Care policies and procedures, statutory and contractual requirements in relation to management of service delivery
  • Give direction, instruction and heading to staff in connection to assignments that require completion and administrations.
  • Manage communication with key stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Any other duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organisation
  • Experience or qualifications in either Social, Welfare, Disability or Management and proficiency in developing and implementing NDIS and NDIA regulations, and practice standards
  • Problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
  • Previous experience supervising, supporting and training staff
  • The ability to operate efficiently and deliver excellent service when under pressure
  • Ability to provide exceptional support to our carers when they need assistance with anything related to our external clients
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to participate in further training and education opportunities
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication and harmonious working relationships
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Experience maintaining computerised customer information systems
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
