The Role
Our client is seeking the support of contractor to join its Project Support Unit.

The Project Support Officer will provide administrative support services in the functions of Project Controls, Project Governance, reporting and Operations Management.


Responsibilities of the role:


  • Assisting the team with the performance and completion of its various functions.

Functions may include, but are notl imited to:

  • Records and task management
  • Travel and Budget
  • Operations assistance
  • Schedule, Quality and Risk management
  • Reporting requirements
  • Meeting facilitation
  • Develop and maintain project plans, processes and systems, ensuring their ongoing effectiveness through collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Other support duties as directed.

About You

  • Demonstrate initiative to commence and finalise tasks within own level of ability;
  • Work collaboratively as an effective team member;
  • Provide constructive feedback to peers where appropriate;
  • Draft briefs, complex correspondence and reports to an acceptable level of completion for supervisor review;
  • Draw on experience to resolve problems and carry out administrativ eand technical activities;
  • Identify tasks that require compliance to legislation, regulations and/or policy and approaching them appropriately
  • Be appropriately qualified and experienced to perform general project administration roles.
  • Possess demonstrated competence with Defence ICT systems and software.
  • Supporting documents
  • Possess high quality writing skills, communication and selforganisation skills.
